Conversation between me and my hubby one night as we listened to the cars zoom by outside our window (we live maybe 50 feet, if that, from a state route):
Me: There sure is a lot of traffic for 10:45 on a Thursday night. You know what, in my next life I'm going to have a house way back off of the road.
Him: Well, it wouldn't be that bad to be this close to the road if it weren't for all the cars.
Me: Yep, you're right, it wouldn't be bad at all if the road wasn't a road.
